✨ Go Gold! ✨To kick off Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Steven, Belle, & Rich walked hand in hand—showing the strength of this community. 💛🎗️
Steven – Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and, at age 10, underwent an amputation. He is now cancer-free!

Belle – Diagnosed with Alveolar Rhabdomyosarcoma in her left leg at age 3 and underwent an amputation at 5, and is once again showing her strength through a recent relapse.

Rich – Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma at 8 years old, endured 6 recurrences, and is now cancer-free!
In January 2024, Rich stood by Belle the day she received her first prosthesis, offering tips and encouragement. And just recently, when Steven was fit with his very first prosthesis by our team, Belle and Rich welcomed him warmly—Belle even showed him “how it’s done.” 🦾
They each have a rare amputation called Van Nes Rotationplasty—a surgery where the lower leg and foot are rotated 180° and fused to the thigh, allowing the ankle to function as a knee.🦿
Together, they remind us what resilience and community truly look like. 💙
