In this episode you will learn about who is required to take e-pass during lockdown, online application process and how many days will it take for the Police epartment to approve / reject your e-pass.

Telangana had declared a 10 day lockdown and it is widely being speculated that it may get extended by another few days. During this lockdown if one has an emergency to travel within the city or inter commissionerate jurisdiction limits like within the tri-commissionarate of Hyderabad-Cyberabad-Rachakonda or to other cities, districts or states then you are required to obtain e-pass without which you will not be able to go out.

The process is oline and there is no other off-line process available at the moment to obtain e-pass. It can be availed through the following two websites:

https://policeportal.tspolice.gov.in/

https://hyderabadpolice.gov.in/

You can click on any one of the above websites and reach the desired portal page to apply for e-pass. This pass will be issued by the comissioners or superintendents of police. Passengers travelling by flight or trains are allowed to travel without an e-pass provided they carry a valid ticket with them and produce when asked at the police check post.

Hyderabad city police has launched a new version of e-pass application for Individual, vehicke, organisation and establishment. You are required to login to the portal and fill up the necessary details broadly divided into five categories:
1. Applicant Personal Details
2. Route Details
3. Pass Validity Period
4. Correspondence Address
5. Transport Details

One has to be prepared with their valid government ID proof like Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Lisence, PP size difital photo, and a purpose document to be prepared to upload in the relavent sections of the application form.
