Cassandra Howard, Assistant for Mobilization and Reserve Health Affairs, speaks about the importance of readiness and how the Tennessee Air and Army National Guard medical teams test their skills during Shaken Fury, Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Smyrna Airport, Smyrna, Tennessee. Shaken Fury is a Federal Emergency Management Agency led exercise simulating a catastrophic earthquake along the New Madrid Seismic Zone near Memphis, Tennessee. The purpose of the exercise is to examine and improve the community's response to a "no-notice" earthquake, recognize shortfalls in resources, and develop a coordinated recovery strategy plan.
