On 13 September 2024, we begun our Strengthening the Roots coaching visits in Ghana.

The first partner we engaged is the 𝐆𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 located in the Western Region of #Ghana.

They are making strides in the fight against illegal mining popularly known as 'Galamsey' in Ghana. Through engagements with chiefs, community youth, public officials, and schools, they are persistent and growing nationwide with over 300 members.

With support from Wilde Ganzen, International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN NL) and in partnership with A Rocha Ghana.
