It's time we put an end to this topic of discussion, at least for now, until people are willing to listen without getting upset. I know this subject is still very triggering to a lot of my fellow black brothers and sisters all over the world, but I can not leave things unsaid here. I forgot to mention this in the video, but another aspect of colorism in the west was for the most part, a racial thing as well, which is why so many westerners (including Americans) pair racism and colorism together when talking about just one of those subjects. White people in America for example, were seen as the perfect representation of beauty whereas, black Americans were seen as undesirable and treated as the bottom of the beryl.
