This webinar discusses the value of having a Classification Scheme and Retention Schedule module fully integrated with your records management software. It will control the entire lifecycle of your records from filing to final disposition. As the information governance rules change, all the records manager has to do is update the retention schedule.
A good Classification Scheme and Retention Schedule accepts any existing structure and manages integrated legal citations.
End users file their own records into (virtual) folders that are prepared for them by the records manager. They see only folders relevant to them. The classification structure is used to narrow online searches and the retention is used to trigger final disposition.
