Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Nick Fury has recruited a new agent into the team, Bryce Santos. Agent Santos has been assigned the task of bringing in the vigilantes Spider-Man and Daredevil and many more to kickstart the 'Avengers: Initiative'.
I'm a big fan of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. but I always thought it would be cool if they did a crossover with the Avengers, Spider-Man and the Netflix Defenders, so I made this Marvel fan made short.

Who is Agent Santos?
Bryce Santos is a Filipino S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who worked his way up the ranks from the lowest rank to one of the higher ranks. He grew up in a lower class family in Manila, Philippines. He realized that he wanted to be able to provide for himself and his family, and to be able to buy things he wants and do things he wants.
He also wanted to be a strong and positive role model for other Filipino's in his community. He was inspired by all the action movies and shows he watched as a child, both local and foreign martial arts media. He wanted to be a UFC Fighter because he saw how they were super strong, but are also living a lavishing life. He studied online and observed other martial artists obsessively.
One day while working out in the park doing sets of pull-ups, chin-ups, dips, pistol squats, muscle ups, and handstand push-ups, Agents Phil Coulson and Melinda May approached him. Santos initially dismissed them, but they were persistent. Coulson said he worked for S.H.I.E.L.D. and that S.H.I.E.L.D. needed strong and tough men like Santos to track down the super-powered individuals.
What is the Marvel Photographic Universe?
There was an idea… to bring together a group of enhanced individuals, to see if they could become something more. If they could work together when we needed them, and to tell the stories that the MCU didn't.
The Marvel Photographic Universe (MPU) is a shared fan-made universe based on the Marvel Comics and the fan fiction stories are told through movie-poster style edits, photoshoots, short VFX clips, motion graphics, audio voiceovers & animation sequences.
Models, cosplayers and aspiring actors will portray the characters in this universe whilst the photographers, editors and digital artists will create the VFX and CGI to convey the story through visual imagery. All content set in the MPU will have the MPU logo on them and will be created by the fans of the Marvel franchise.
This is an opportunity for models and photographers to collaborate together and deliver the content through Social Media, Reddit, YouTube shorts, Instagram Reels & TikTok etc. The shared universe, much like the Marvel Cinematic Universe will cross over common plot elements, settings, cast, and characters. The edits will be based on characters that appear in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. New characters will also be introduced in the MPU.
There's lots of potentially great stories to be told but the biggest barriers many of us face are travel constraints and financial constraints, as it usually costs well over millions of dollars to create a Marvel Studios type of movie, making it very challenging for independent creatives to create their own superhero universe and fan films. But I've discovered it's possible to tell stories through the use of photography, digital artwork and VFX. We may not need millions of dollars to tell the stories we'd love to see on the big screen.
The possibilities are endless with a shared photographic universe! The aim is to take photography, modelling, cosplay and digital artwork to another level. This Marvel short features all the Marvel related edits I’ve posted on my Instagram page so far, there’s many more to come!
