Speech by Mr. Andrew Hanauer, Campaigns Director for Jubilee USA Network, during the post-2015 development agenda negotiations at UN Headquarters on 23 April 2015. Mr. Andrew Hanauer is American. The Co-Facilitators of the post-2015 process, H.E. Ambassador Macharia Kamau (Kenya) and H.E. Ambassador David Donoghue (Ireland), and the Co-Facilitators of the Financing for Development Conference process, H.E. Ambassador Geir O. Pedersen (Norway) and H.E. Ambassador George Talbot (Guyana), convened this 23 April interactive dialogue with stakeholders from the Post-2015 and Financing for Development processes to discuss Means of Implementation and Global Partnership for Sustainable Development. This session also addressed the relationship between the Financing for Development (FfD) process and the post-2015 development agenda process. UN-NGLS and UN DESA co-facilitated an open and participatory process in partnership with a Stakeholder Steering Committee to identify 26 speakers for this dialogue with UN Member States. This process ensured regional and gender balance, diversity of expertise, constituencies and age among stakeholder speakers.
