ABC's of Salvation

o A - Admit: Admit that you are a sinner in need of a savior and ask forgiveness.
 Romans 3:23 All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
 Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
 1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
o B - Believe: Believe in your heart that Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of sins & rose from the dead. (This is not an excuse to sin willfully, we must strive to sin no more!)
 John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures.
 Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
 Isaiah 53:5-8 5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
o C - Call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
 Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
 Romans 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
 Romans 10:13 Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
