A Sponsor Visit, A Lasting Bond
When Harold and Debbie from Cross Pointe Community Church visited their sponsored child, Ezra Kigaye, it was a day of joy and celebration. Ezra’s family and neighbors welcomed them with songs, dancing, and cultural honors—an outpouring of gratitude for the love shown through sponsorship.

The visit was deeply personal. Ezra, though shy, shared about his schooling and dreams, while his mother and grandmother expressed heartfelt thanks for the support that provides education and daily care. Harold and Debbie played a video from their Sunday school class—children ages 9–13 who faithfully give to support Ezra. Their messages of love and worship brought smiles and tears to the entire family.

The sponsors also toured the homestead, met relatives, and encouraged Ezra as they prayed together. Special gifts of clothes, bedding, and toys brought joy not only to Ezra but to the children gathered. It was a powerful reminder that sponsorship is more than financial support—it’s family in Christ.
