Law Enforcement Duty Belt Setup & EDC

Описание к видео Law Enforcement Duty Belt Setup & EDC

There are a lot of ways to set up a duty belt, and this is how I skin that particular cat. I am a patrol officer, I work primarily out of my patrol car, and I work in a mostly urban environment. I work a rotating shift, meaning that my time is split between working during the day and at night.

In this day and age I prefer plastics for my pouches, I have found that they hold up better with use, particularly in and around my patrol car. Seatbelts will wear out a leather pouch in short order. I also prefer to have as much of my belt be ambidextrous as possible, and this particular set up allows for that.

My duty belt has undergone a great deal of change, but I have stuck with this format for the past 3-4 years. I will add and remove items as needed, namely a baton, cell phone, and additional pistol magazine. Unless I specifically stated otherwise all of the pouches on my belt are made by Safariland. With few exceptions, such as the Eleven10 tourniquet pouch, by policy I am mandated to have a basket weave belt and pouches.
