Скачать или смотреть US Stocks End Higher Ahead Of Fed Meeting, Asian Indices Trade Mixed; Higher Start On D-Street?

U.S. stock market ended higher on Monday, with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq advancing for a fourth consecutive session.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rallied 313.69 points, or 0.64%, to 49,412.40, while the S&P 500 gained 34.62 points, or 0.50%, to 6,950.23. The Nasdaq Composite closed 100.11 points, or 0.43%, higher at 23,601.36.


Asian markets traded mixed today after US President Donald Trump said he would increase tariffs on South Korea. Japan’s Nikkei 225 fell 0.24%, while the Topix declined 0.31%. South Korea’s Kospi dropped 0.36%, while Kosdaq rallied 1.41%. Hong Kong Hang Seng index futures indicated a higher opening.


Meanwhile, the trends on Gift Nifty indicate a positive start for the Indian benchmark index. The Gift Nifty was trading around 25,160 level, a premium of nearly 80 points from the Nifty futures’ previous close.
