The Grimshaw-Kraemer House was originally built on Broadway near Anaheim Blvd (then known as Los Angeles Street) by Emma Mary Kraemer, daughter of Daniel Kraemer, a pioneer of Placentia with business ties to Anaheim and Emma’s husband, Thomas Grimshaw. Thomas was the proprietor of the Anaheim Planing Mill, then located at 420 S. Lemon Street. The Grimshaw Family occupied the home for generations until 1934.
