Batman’s gallery of rogues has been one of the greatest things about Gotham City since the very beginning. And even today, DC seems to leave no stones unturned when it comes to developing newer villains for the Caped Crusader.
The Designer is one of their newer, more successful additions. He was created by James Tynior IV and Jorge Jimenez and made his first appearance in 2020, in the eighty ninth issue of the ongoing Batman comic series. He was introduced in the Dark Designs arc as a mysterious character. But just after we learnt about him and got some clarity, the storyline took a turn and made him way more mysterious than before.
