Описание к видео Hide Data Using Password in MS EXCEL |Invisible data |

You can effectively "hide" data in Microsoft Excel using conditional formatting by making the text the same color as the background. Here's how to do it, along with some considerations:
Method 1: Making Text the Same Color as the Background
Select the Range: Choose the cells containing the data you want to hide.
Open Conditional Formatting:
Go to the "Home" tab on the Excel ribbon.
In the "Styles" group, click "Conditional Formatting."
Select "New Rule..."
Create the Rule:
In the "New Formatting Rule" dialog box, choose "Format only cells that contain."
In the lower section:
Leave the first dropdown set to "Cell Value."
Leave the second dropdown set to "between" or change it to "equal to" depending on the data you wish to hide.
If you want to hide all data in the selected range, put a very large number in the first box of "between" and a very small number in the second box. Or, if you are using equal to, you could put a value that will never be in your selected range.
Click the "Format..." button.
Set the Font Color:
In the "Format Cells" dialog box, go to the "Font" tab.
Open the "Color" dropdown and choose the same color as the cell's background. (Typically, this is white, but it could be another color if you've changed the background.)
Click "OK" to close the "Format Cells" dialog box.
Click "OK" to close the "New Formatting Rule" dialog box.
Method 2: Using a Formula (for specific conditions)
If you want to hide data based on a specific condition (e.g., if a cell in another column is "Yes"), you can use a formula in your conditional formatting rule.
Select the Range: Choose the cells you want to hide based on the condition.
Open Conditional Formatting: Follow the same steps as in Method 1.
Create the Rule:
In the "New Formatting Rule" dialog box, choose "Use a formula to determine which cells to format."
In the "Format values where this formula is true" box, enter your formula. For example, if you want to hide the data in column A when the corresponding cell in column B is "Yes," the formula would be: = $B1 = "Yes" (adjust the cell references as needed).
Click the "Format..." button.
Set the Font Color: Follow the same steps as in Method 1 to set the font color to match the background.
Click OK
Important Considerations:
Not Secure: This method does not provide true security. Anyone who knows how to use Excel can easily see the hidden data by:
Selecting the cells.
Changing the font color.
Viewing the formula bar.
Clearing conditional formatting.
Printing: If you print the worksheet, the hidden data might still be visible if the printer settings are configured to print gridlines or if the hidden cells are part of a chart.
Copying and Pasting: If you copy and paste the hidden cells into another location, the data will still be copied, even if it's not visible.
Formula Bar: The data will still be visible in the formula bar when a hidden cell is selected.
Purpose: This technique is best used for cosmetic purposes or to simplify the appearance of a worksheet, not for protecting sensitive information.
Clear Conditional formatting: If you wish to make the data visible again, you can select the range of cells, go to conditional formatting, and select "Clear rules from selected cells".
If you need to protect sensitive data, consider using Excel's password protection or other data security measures.
