Modern medicine is pretty great. Sure we can’t cure diseases like cancer and lupus (yet), but we’ve got the smaller stuff pretty much down. Of course, it wasn’t always like that. A couple hundred years ago, you’d have been lucky to survive a deep cut, let alone an auto-immune disease!
