Based on its original Genesis/CD counterparts, ECCO centers around the eponymous young and powerful dolphin and his neverending quest to find out the truth behind his family's disappearance and how much the fate of the entire world lies within his hands - more like within his fins!

One day, his entire aquatic community is suddenly whisked away following a sudden storm...in a fit of curiosity, he must consult the Big Blue (a whale), and later the Asterite (an omnipresent organism resembling a DNA strand)...but must go through an unexpected myriad of trials & tribulations.
