Stanislav Stanislavovich Bunin (1966-)
Born in Moscow during the Soviet era. His father is Stanislav Neuhaus, and his mother is also a pianist from the Moscow Conservatory and a teacher. He has been taught piano by his mother since the age of four, and has been educated as a gifted person since then. At the age of 17, he won the youngest victory in the Long-Thibaud International Competition. He studied under Chopin researcher Sergei Dorensky in 1984. When he won the Chopin International Piano Competition at the age of 19, he also won the "Concerto Award" and the "Polonaise Award" at the same time. He went into exile in West Germany in June 1988. In addition to his area of expertise, Chopin, he expanded his repertoire with Beethoven's piano sonatas, Schumann, J.S. Bach and Mozart.
