Surprising Treasures found in the River Thames? Mudlarking with Nicola White

As I was wandering along the foreshore, a glint of gold caught my eye and I realised there was a strap protruding from the mud. I pulled it and guess what was on the end!


When I wound it up it started to work..... for a while! In today's video I find some of the my favourite kinds of objects - those relating to maritime history. Also, I meet a mudlarking friend Kathy who has made a superb discovery with a great story behind it!
