In this short video, I’m again in the Ford Focus and talking about its Powershift dual-clutch transmission. This is one of the most common problems with these cars and here I’m discussing the recall question.

Unfortunately, Ford doesn’t care much about the transmission problems that owners experience with Powershift units. So, the recalls were for earlier versions only. In 2015, Ford updated the clutch and the TCM and claimed that all the problem were solved. But they weren’t.
