What to do in Paynesville

The past 3 months, my friend and I have been traveling the east coast of Australia in our lovely rented camper van. We figured it a given, seeing as the Australia is famous for its wildlife, that we would constantly almost be mowed down by Kangaroos, Emus, and Crocodiles. It was only after two weeks that we realized that most of our encounters with animals had been roadkill, and we concluded that we were probably looking in the wrong places. A cup of coffee, and some friendly conversation with a couple of locals was all it took for us to be pointed in the direction of Eden and Paynesville, and this is what it looked like :)
