History of Land Ownership - Land Law

Описание к видео History of Land Ownership - Land Law

In this lesson we shall be going beyond looking at the basic concepts of land law and begin looking at the historical developments of land ownership in the UK. Land law is an area of the law which dates back thousands of years and, as such, it is important for one to have a basic understanding of the historical developments of land law and land ownership.

We shall be examining the traditional understanding of all land being owned by the Crown, how this system developed and how the doctrine of tenures and subinfeudation came to become common place in English society.
