Exposed Concrete House for a Change of Scenery | AL House

Описание к видео Exposed Concrete House for a Change of Scenery | AL House

The AL House symbolizes a change of scenery for a family consisting of a couple and two children, who decided to trade the busy life of Porto Alegre for the tranquility of Canela, in the Serra Gaúcha. From the front, the house appears to be single-story, with a metal roof covering the vehicles and extending over the rear porch, contrasting with the weight of the opaque exposed concrete.

The plot, with a 4.5-meter slope, allows access via the upper floor, where the hallway and four suites are located. An internal garden in the vertical circulation naturally illuminates and ventilates the ground floor. The integrated and expandable social area includes the kitchen, dining, living room, and TV room, ideal for entertaining friends and family.

The porch, sheltered by the overhang of the upper volume, offers views of the lake in the gated community's natural area, promoting the slower pace desired by the family. The house's materiality includes Miracema stone cladding, exposed concrete, and natural wood flooring, harmonizing with the leather upholstery and neutral tones, highlighting the green surroundings that invade the spaces. The private area, on the same access level, includes a guest room, children's rooms, and, at the back, the master suite with the best orientation and views.
