Previously*I was thinking about the awards and what I was going to tell my mom...her best friend just left...and she took mine with her.*
I walked back into the house after a couple minutes. Nick looked up from the tv. "Bea, is everything okay?" I looked at him with a confused look. "I think so...they wanted to be friends? Should I be worried?" "No." He smiled at me. "Okay." I sat next to him forgetting every bad thing that has happened in the last hour and just being with him made me feel better. "Guys it's time to get ready for the awards!" I heard Kevin yell. I opened my tired eyes. Yeah...I just fell asleep and I looked at Nick. So did he. I smiled and shook him. "Nick, sleepy head, wake up." He opened his eyes while Joe walked into the room. "You two are exactly the same, I swear you both can fall asleep anywhere!" I laughed and Nick argued. "We can not." "The car ride?" "Okay...maybe we can but still." Joe started laughing. "So let's get ready before Kevin comes out here." "I'm gonna go to my house and change...do you mind?" "No not at all. I'll pick you up." "Okay love you." "Love you too." I walked out the door and basically ran home. If I was going to make it I had to get home fast...and if I had to explain everything to my mom...oh man. I got home and almost knocked my mom down. "I need to talk to you." I said out of breath. "What is it honey? Is everything okay?" I caught my breath and drank the glass of water she handed me. "Yeah...but you have to help me, I need to get ready for the awards...and tell you at the same time." "Okay." She followed me. "I'll get your dress." I took a shower and she dried and curled my hair. I took a deep breath. "Mom...they're gone again." "Who is?" "Micky and his mom." She was finished and turned around. "They can't be." "But mom they are. Again. She took my best friend away from me again. I thought I had him back." "She would have told me...." I looked at my mom and knew she was gone...she was thinking about it too hard now. I signed and changed. I got downstairs and she was just sitting there. "Bye mom." She waved but her eyes were distant. I got to the door and saw Nick standing there. I smiled. "You look beautiful." "You look handsome." I tried to keep my voice level but he knew something was wrong. "You okay?" "Yes. Let's just go...before my mom does something." He look at my mom and his features loosened. "I'm so sorry." The compassion in his voice almost made me cry but I held the tears back. We got into the car and by the time we got to the awards I felt better. We got out and I heard their screaming fans. I realized that always makes you feel better...even though they weren't screaming for me they made me forget. We got inside and talked to people and I watched them go on stage. It was a fun night. After we went to the after party and danced. Some people asked to talk to Nick, Joe, and Kevin so I went with Alex to get a drink. I froze, near the drinks I saw Micky. Alex looked back at me and saw my face. "What's wrong?" "Micky. He's here." She looked at the drinks. "Go talk to him!" "I can't." But she gave me a push and I bumped him. "Oh, I'm so sorry." I looked up into his eyes. "Micky?" "Hey. I thought I'd surprise you. I feel really bad." "It's not your fault..." He was going to say something but Nick came up behind me. "What happened?" I asked. He had a huge smile on his face. "We're hosting in August!" I smiled and gave him a hug. "That's awesome!" We were talking about it and I realized 2 minutes after that Micky had already left. It was so strange. How did he even get in here? I didn't have enough time to even think about it because miley, selena, demi, and taylor came up to me. "Hey!" "Hey." I said then took a deep breath and smiled. "Want to take pictures together?" They smiled back. "Yeah." We took pictures and I actually did laugh with them. They wanted to go to the mall some time and I was willing to go. Maybe they aren't as bad as I thought they were. After I went to dance with Nick and we laughed...there were pictures taken every second of us. The party ended and we were on the way back home. "So you guys are hosting?!?!" "Yeah!" "Can you believe it?" "I can't wait." I smiled. "Me either-" Just the the car was surrounded by screaming fans. After a couple of blocks we lost them but we didn't go to the house just in case. We got back home and Nick walked me to my house. It was a nice night. When I got to my house my mom wasn't there. I thought it was strange but I figured she was out getting something to eat and the answering machine was blinking. Nick left and I changed getting ready for bed. I went to watch some tv and to txt Nick. I went to the check the messages. "Hello. I'm calling you about-" I started at the phone after the message was over...what did this mean? What's going on?
