The new Endless Update for Killing Floor 2 is now live, and here are my thoughts on this latest update. New weapons like the Mac-10, the Husk Cannon, and the AF2011-A1 are now in the game. These new weapons are welcome additions to the different classes. With this update the Firebug class now has two every effective weapons. The Gunslinger class also has a new weapon to add to their arsenal, as well as a few buffs to their old revolvers. Both the 1858, and the .500 revolver got buffs in this patch. The Medic's Hemogoblin was also buffed to the point where it is now an effective weapon, and the Berserker's Zweihander was buffed with longer range.

The new Endless mode allows you to play games for as long as you can. If you make it to level 25 then you will unlock all of the skins for the new character D.A.R. New objectives have been added to every map as well. The new stand your ground feature allows you and your team to hold one area on the map. If you hold the ground for the full round then you and your team will get bonus dosh, bonus vault cash, and bonus exp.


Theme waves have also been introduced into the game. In each theme wave something different will happen. If you get one of the zed theme waves then that whole wave will only be that type of zed. If you get one of the other theme waves then one wave will act like one of the weekly challenges.

Game Description: In KILLING FLOOR 2, players descend into continental Europe where the outbreak caused by Horzine Biotech’s failed experiment has quickly spread and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union— Just one month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR, the specimen clones are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications have failed, governments have collapsed, and military forces have been systematically eradicated. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation too well and lucky survivors have gone into hiding.

Not all have given up hope though... A group of civilians and mercenaries have banded together to combat the outbreak and established privately funded operation bases across Europe. Upon tracking specimen clone outbreaks, players will descend into zed-laden hot zones and exterminate them.
