First Week Selling Flowers at the Markets 💐 My Thoughts, Weekly Wrap Up & How Much Money I Made

Описание к видео First Week Selling Flowers at the Markets 💐 My Thoughts, Weekly Wrap Up & How Much Money I Made

This week was officially the first week of selling my flowers! A little less than a year ago I decided to start a flower farm in my backyard and sell to the public! It was incredibly difficult to establish the farm with all of the rain, but I'm finally in a position where I can sell regular bunches of flowers to the market and surrounding shops. In today's video I share my thoughts on the first week of selling flowers on the South East coast of New South Wales, Australia, how much money I made and my plans for expanding selling the flowers. I also share what flowers seeds I'm sowing now at the start of February and what the flowers are looking like! I'm so grateful for all of the support I've received from small businesses who rally together and create such a beautiful community! Can't wait to do it all again!

Hey there!

Welcome to my channel, The Nature Patch where I like to share all things gardening, cooking, environmental science and flower farming in my Australian bushland backyard in south coast NSW.

My name is Robyn, an environmental scientist working towards completing a PhD in understanding how people's wellbeing and their connection to nature is impacted by land use change. I've always loved gardening and nature and lately have been interested in growing my own organic food!

On this channel you'll find videos relating to garden tours, 'how to' videos, composting, soil health, ecosystem services, and seed saving.

I try to upload twice a week and I hope you enjoy!!

🤎 Filmed and edited on Yuin country. I acknowledge and pay respects to Traditional Owners of the land past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
