This clip is from the 1940 John Ford film "The Long Voyage Home," based on a Eugene O'Neill play about seagoing sailors. It starred John Wayne, but curiously he actually has a very small part in it as Swedish sailor Ole. This clip, from near the end of the film, depicts the men on shore leave after a long voyage, and contains almost all the dialogue Wayne spoke in the film -- in a horrible Swedish accent.
