The 2025 MDisability Summer Internship cohort conducted their final Research Project Presentations at the July 29 Research Meeting of the Department of Family Medicine, which supports the MDisability Program.

Interns and their presentations include:

Rahee Amin, who presented "MDisability Projects Across Disabilities
Part I: Signing Deaf Pregnant Women’s Healthcare Experiences in Narrative Review
Part II: Discussion on Writing in Traumatic Spinal Cord Injury & Alzheimer's Related Dementia Research"

Jill Maudlin who presented, "Disability Policies in Graduate Medical Education"

Maria Velat who presented, "Health Information Seeking Experiences among People with Disabilities: Results from the Health Information National Trends Survey"

Amin and Velat presented results from the Group Project, "Developing a Disability Resource Guide for Family Medicine: Fostering Support for Patients with Disabilities"

MDisability is a collaborative family medicine program based at the University of Michigan, focused on improving the primary care of people with disabilities through medical education, research, clinical care, and community partnerships.
