How I'm Baiting Out Compost Worms For My New Worm Bin | Vermicompost Worm Farm

Time to collect red wigglers for my New Urban Worm Bag!! Using a bait station, I hope capture a worm ball to start a new colony!! Collecting 300-500 from each of my three current worm bins should give me a good start to grow my population & castings generating capacity; not to mention I will be able to turn 100% of my plant based food scraps & paper/cardboard waste into natural organic fertilizer in the form of worm castings for my garden!!

In this video we explore the last feeding zone, mix in all the shredded cardboard we put on top last time and set up our bait tray with some pumpkin chunks. 3 days later I do a quick check and give an update. You'll also see me add a new batch of worm chow I concocted using some interesting ingredients!
