"Waiting for the pain to pass" (also know as "Moths are dying on the glass") is the "broken hit" of the Sodium Nights collection. While the rhythm is fast, driving, and undeniably catchy, the soundscape is intentionally "damaged" in an attempt to ressemble to the hit song Sudno from Molchat Doma. Born from a raw, glitch-infused production style, the track features a prominent, melodic bassline that fights against a deteriorating vintage synthesizer. A deep, detached baritone voice delivers the central metaphor: we are all just moths hitting the glass, mistaking the artificial city lights for the moon. It’s a song about the fatal attraction of the modern world—you can dance to it, but it hurts.

In this 3-song videoclip, the "Doomer Muse" returns. Through a series of glitch-cut composites, we see her transition from a hypnotic stare to a frantic dance, mirroring the song's descent from observation to manic trance. The song "Moths are dying on the glass" is repeated 3 times in 3 different versions (same lyrics but different songs) for those who like to loop catchy songs and dance all night.
