This wasn’t your typical value-heavy or imbue-focused Priest run, this was aggressive tempo Priest at its finest, and what a ride it turned out to be. Built on a barrage of early-game pressure and anchored by the incredible Archaios, this deck created board states that were nearly impossible for opponents to answer. When things slowed down, a handful of heavy top-end cards added just enough finishing value to push games over the line.

In this video, I take you through the draft and the gameplay decisions that bring a more complex version of Priest to life. Tempo Priest isn’t easy to pilot; it demands precise sequencing, strong understanding of initiative, and careful planning around how your early pieces convert into long-term pressure. Across the run you’ll find explosive snowball starts, tense midgame pivots, and multiple matches where the deck’s hybrid nature (aggressive yet still capable of late-game punch) shines in full force.
