'Where has the guru arrived? The poet seems a saint; do saints have homes?' - It is a rustic tradition to spark dialogue upon a setting Satsang. A little curiosity can unravel deep answers to such spiritual poems.

Arunji spreads some light, "The guru's arrival symbolizes the culmination of the student's lifelong quest for his spiritual guidance, bringing the promise of the 'Shabad', the Word of liberation. The guru has appeared in his very life, knocking on the doors of the student's heart.

The student will keep calling out his followers, sometimes even exaggerating his reverence in beautiful metaphors. Such is a Guru's grace!"

A popular folk poetry by Ramanandi poet, Maluk Das listen to this Guru Bhajan adjoined by the vigorous voice of Arun Goyal ji, a famous Kabir enthusiast hailing from Malwa, Madhya Pradesh.

This satsang session was recorded at the serene farmhouse of our beloved friend and sah-yatri, V.V. Patel, nestled in the Umta village of Gujarat. Joining us were extraordinary artists hailing from the vibrant regions of Rajasthan and Malwa, including Arun Goyal from Indore, the Mir Basu Barkat Khan from Pugal, and Nathu Khan from Bikaner.

English translation of the Bhajan:

My Guru dwells in the sky
The student is beneath this body
Absorbed in the word of awareness
No trace of separation

All Guru's are unlike
Every Guru's emotions, unlike!
One is the true Guru
who tells you the perfect trade

These whispering Gurus are in bounds,
The Guru of the boundless is different
When you find such a boundless guru,
then home finds a dwelling

O, my Guru is coming today!
Waves surge in this heart
Yes, in this heart of mine
In this whole body

The news of my Guru's coming carried me away
Like the chukar's love for the moonlight
My awareness is fixed on his lotus feet
Like a Kite tethered to it's string

When I heeded my Guru's word
The five thieves trembled
Pitch darkness withers away
The night turns to dawn!

No doubt linger anymore!
My Peacock-heart breaks into dance
My bride-soul set her eyes
on her beloved

I found my true Guru in Bhika Das
Doings and Doubts, he shattered them away
Das Maluk lies at his feet
Now this is my home!

O, my Guru is coming today!
