We head back inland only a short distance and drive up Mont Ventoux into the French Alps to an altitude of 1500M, that's higher than the tallest mountain in the UK Ben Nevis, where we wild camp in our self-built camper van in the snow.

I know Lou does not like the cold and we didn't build the van for winter touring or snow but it was interesting to test the heating and insulation out in the cold.

The insulation and our Truma heater worked amazing, we only had it on its eco setting which is the lowest and it was up to 24°C inside the van with only 2°C outside.
