As a Florida Resident, I've come to expect hurricanes every year. I've found the easiest way to board up windows for a hurricane, and I'm going to show you how I do it here.

The biggest thing is making sure that if you have an impact, your windows are protected. If you end up with a window blown out during a hurricane, you want to patch it as fast as possible. The pressure difference from inside to outside is what can cause roofs to be blown off.

The way I board up windows for a hurricane is by using concrete tapcons, and OSB plywood. One thing to keep in mind when using OSB, is that there is a side you want facing in and a side facing out as it is stronger when oriented that way. Usually it is the smooth side facing down or in this case, in.
