I really can't understand why there is hardly any Mrs Mills on the internet!! It's travesty & completely unacceptable that the late Gladys is not represented or written about more....................

So, after missing out on hearing this very record at my Grandad's house in the mid 1970's (I never forgot it) I duly bought a copy, dusted down my trusty HiFi turntable, connected it up to my computer & converted it to digital! a few tweaks with the relatively poor very low level output from the record itself (other records are fine) I applied a little compression & channel balance digitally & it sounds bloody marvellous :) Still very much analogue & I left all the pops & clicks in just the way it should be heard..........Despite the very low level from the record, the stereo separation is stunning & never noticed as a child, Grandad only had a mickey mouse record player & I was only around 10 years old at that time! So, I had never realised how good it could sound! Having played with audio & recording all my life, this was very easy to convert to digital! After listening back to the digital file, I soon found myself back in that house where I spent the happiest days of my childhood listening to Mrs Mills - A few tears came but happy ones........I hope you enjoy this record!

Please Note: There is a small jump in 'The Clouds Will Soon Roll By' Unavoidable I am afraid - & this record was sold to me as 'Mint' lol Ah well..........
