My Trimble 5600 set up: Powering the instrument and remote target

Do not purchase a 5600 instrument without obtaining a Trimble Power Stick/Rod first! These are extremely hard to come by, unlike the other parts of the kit. If you happen to come across one, the kind folks at surveybattery.com will re-cell it for you, if needed.

Trimble RMT 606 remote target
Generic 360 prism

While the equipment is old and Trimble no longer makes parts for this or supports it, it seems to be performing quite well for me.
