Not to Have Lived

Описание к видео Not to Have Lived

"Not to Have Lived" a 1963 look at modernity and it's effect on human life. Not much has changed in the past 50 years. I, Jay Hansell, edited this 25-minute docu-drama. Produced and written by Bob Anderson, Directed by Vern Louden, Camera Al Kihn with John Hines, Roger Krup, and Ted Castle. For you film buffs the film was shot using Dupont 16mm negative and hot spliced. The sound was recorded on a magnetic stripe on the film. Music was recorded on 16mm magnetic sound film. The film was cut to the pace of the music. It aired in 1963 as a live broadcast on KRON-TV. The negative image was reversed in projection as it aired. Not to Have Lived was one of the first documentaries I edited.
