Sooting some event photos, using my all manual camera, the Pentax MX with and older style non programable, non ttl automatic electronic flash. I shot Fomapan 400 ISO black and white film while using zone focus with my 35mm lens set to f/8. Along with this basic older style auto exposure flash ( the Promaster FT-1700 ) I will discuss how I transformed my all manual 35mm slr film camera into a high quality point and shoot camera while doing a bit of flash photography.
