A Tribute to Dr. Don Rose by Paul Drew

"Doctor" - Don Rose who died in 2005 - was one of the brightest stars of the local radio business throughout the 60's - 80's. Full of energy and endless wit, he was the number one rated air personality everywhere he went: ie. Atlanta, Philadelphia and San Francisco. Paul Drew was a programming executive who headed up the program operations for RKO General in major markets as well as other notable broadcast endeavors. Drew's career was co-mingled with Don Rose's on a number of occasions both as a cohort and as a competitor - a situation which made for interesting stories about the radio business and about the legendary "Doctor" Don Rose.
