The Bismarck Expressway


In this video, we drive the Bismarck Expressway, west. The Bismarck Expressway makes a southern loop around the city of Bismarck, the capital of North Dakota. At its eastern end, it runs concurrent with the I-94 Business Loop. Then it continues south on unsigned North Dakota State Highway 810. It turns west and runs south of the downtown area, and then becomes controlled access just before the Missouri River. After crossing the river, we enter Mandan, and Morton County. The highway intersects with McKenzie Drive, and then the I-94 Business Loop again (formerly US-10) where the Expressway becomes unsigned I-194 for its last mile. The Expressway ends at I-94 on the eastern edge of Mandan.
