" The Yellow Payges evolved from an earlier surf incarnation known as the Driftones. They were an American psychedelic rock band led by singer Dan Hortter. Although their commercial success was limited, they toured widely and recorded ten singles and an LP (Volume 1) before disbanding in 1970."
