There's a beauty to the 2016 Postmodern Telecaster, in that it isn't necessarily tied to a particular year, era or moment in time, but rather, a vibe that pays tribute to some of the greatest Telecasters of all time. A time-honored classic and a culmination of six decades of “Fender firsts,” the Postmodern Telecaster has a premium, lightweight ash body with a comfortably deep cutaway heel, a tinted quartersawn maple neck with a finely sculpted mid-’60s “oval C” profile, a fast compound-radius fingerboard with 21 narrow jumbo frets, two hand-wound Twisted Tele® pickups with three-way switching, and modern wiring with Greasebucket™ tone circuit, which rolls off highs without reducing gain. The Wildwood Staff adores the Postmodern Telecaster and is honored to present the culmination of six decades in one attractive package!
