May 29, 2019—The Society of Clinical Research Associates (SOCRA) is a non-profit, charitable, and educational membership organization committed to providing education, certification, and networking opportunities to all persons involved in clinical research activities. The George & Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation (CHI) hosts the Winnipeg Chapter of SOCRA and provides an opportunity for local SOCRA members to network, learn, and earn continuing education credits for SOCRA CCRP recertification.

Learning Objectives:
This session will provide an overview on selecting appropriate, reproducible and clinically meaningful outcome measures. Current guidance for the selection of outcomes in efficacy and safety studies will be discussed. Topics will also include considerations for pharmacokinetic studies, the use of biomarkers, outcome reporting, compliance and measurement tool validity.
