Exploring My First Ever Slot Canyons

A little south of Bryce National Park is a section of Utah I wanted to explore this year. Today I'm off to explore the Belly of the Dragon, Elkheart Canyon Slot Canyons, and Red Canyon where Peekaboo Slot Canyons sits. It's a bunch of adventuring but all three sites are right along route 89 in southern Utah and are easy to get to. Well, Peekaboo isn't easy to get to but it'll be an off roading adventure as well and a true test of my 4runner.

For the night I camp out at Stateline Campground which sits right along the border of Utah and Arizona and is the site of the norther terminus of the Arizona Trail. I thru hiked all 788 miles or so in 2021 and I always wanted to come back to see it again.
