Hey, hey, fellow wanderers! Varun here, taking you on a thrilling ride through our fifth day in beautiful Koh Samui, Thailand.

We kicked off the morning with a breakfast at our hotel's restaurant. But alas, the vegetarian options didn't quite hit the mark. No worries, though! We savored some fresh fruits, toast, and a piping hot cup of coffee to fuel our adventurous spirits.

After a rejuvenating rest, we embarked on a mission to find an authentic vegan experience. And oh boy, did we strike gold! Our quest led us to Vegan Khunnay, an extraordinary oasis run by an amazing old lady. Picture this: a bountiful buffet boasting 11+ mouthwatering dishes, all for a wallet-friendly price of just 120 baht per person. It was a true feast for our taste buds, and we couldn't help but go back for seconds (or maybe even thirds!).

With our bellies content and our hearts full, we ventured onward to witness the majestic Big Buddha in all its grandeur. This awe-inspiring statue left us in complete awe, surrounded by a serene atmosphere that inspired a sense of peace and reflection.

After immersing ourselves in the spiritual energy, we sought out a local treasure, Drip Indeed, to satisfy our caffeine cravings. This beloved coffee spot treated us to the finest hand-pressed coffee, prepared with love and precision. The aroma alone was enough to transport us to coffee heaven!

As the day progressed, we stumbled upon an unexpected delight—Maenam beach. Though it wasn't originally on our itinerary, we couldn't resist the allure of the golden sands and shimmering waters as the sun began its descent. We decided to seize the moment and soak up the beauty of this tranquil spot, embracing the calmness and serenity that washed over us.

As the evening approached, our appetites led us to Hua Kati, a charming restaurant where we savored a delightful early dinner. Little did we know that our journey back to the hotel would take us on an unexpected detour through the vibrant Fisherman's Village Night Market, a place we had eagerly anticipated visiting. We couldn't contain our excitement as we indulged in mouthwatering ice creams, refreshing juices, savory dumplings, and more. Our shopping bags filled with unique treasures, we bid farewell to the lively market and returned to our cozy sanctuary.
