Festive Dorset Adventures Corfe Castle, Fossil Hunting, & Flextrail Head Torch Test

🎄 Dorset Festive Escapades: Castles, Fossils, and Fun! 🚐

Join us as we escape to Dorset for an unforgettable festive break! 🎅✨ Our trip was packed with adventure, relaxation, and a sprinkle of New Year’s magic. Here's what we got up to:

🚗 The Journey: The festive traffic was heavy, and it took us over 6 hours to reach the site on the 27th – but it was all worth it!

🏕️ The Stay: We set up base at Hunters Moon Caravan Park, where the lovely site wardens treated everyone to early drinks and nibbles to celebrate New Year’s Eve. 🍷🧀

🚴 Activities:
• Explored the enchanting Corfe Castle 🏰

• Enjoyed stunning views from Poole Quay 🚤 and Bournemouth 🌊
• Visited Swanage a few times, where we were lucky enough to spot a harbour seal basking in its natural habitat 🦭🌊
• Took the Poole Ferry a couple of times to explore Studland ⛴️
• Went on a refreshing bike ride in Wareham Forest 🚴‍♂️🌲
• Fossil hunted in Lyme Regis – a must for any adventurer! 🦖🔍

🍝 Dining Out: We treated ourselves to some lovely meals, including a fabulous New Year’s Eve dinner at the Italian Kitchen in Wareham. What a way to see in the New Year! 🎆🥂
