Browning Solution ✨

2/3 Cup Baking Soda

3 Cups Hot Water


Dough ✨

1 Cup Warm Water

1 Packet Yeast

2 1/2 Tablespoons Sugar

1 Teaspoon Salt 🧂

2 Tablespoons Melted Butter 🧈

3 Cups Flour + more to dust surface

Coarse Salt to top Pretzel 🥨

Oil for bowl during rise



Instructions 💫

Mix sugar into warm water (between 105 and 110°)

Let yeast Activate for 5 minutes

Mix Butter into yeast mixture

Combine Flour and Salt

Pour yeast mixture into flour and mix

Dump dough onto floured surface and knead for 5 minutes

Place dough in oiled bowl and cover. Let rise in warm place for an hour, or until double in size


Mix Hot water and baking soda in plastic bowl

Place dough on counter/mat and cut into 6-8 strips

Roll dough into ropes 30 inches long and shape into pretzel

Dunk in Baking Soda solution

Pat dry

Place Coarse Salt on top of Pretzels

Place on baking sheet with nonstick spray or nonstick aluminum foil

Bake at 400 degrees for about 14-15 minutes, Untill golden brown

Slather with melted butter 🧈
