Presentation of Khukri Drill during EFR Brigade Annual Sports Meet 23.

Salua News : 04.01.2024|| 38th EFR Brigade and Jangalmahal Bn.,Annual Sports Meet 2023-24 was successfully held and completed on 03.01.2024, as EFR 1st Battalion took the fame of being Winner in the Sports Meet by 64 points. The meet started from 28.12.2023, and ended on 03.01.2024. ADG Armed Police West Bengal grace the event with his presence by being the Chief Guest of the Meet on the closing day of the meet. Wing Commander AFS Salua, DIG PTS, Principal Splendour School and other superiors dignitaries were present as special Guest in the meet. Go as you like event was participated after long period by one of the EFR staff and won the first prize displaying swasthata abhiyan. Event for civilian boys of 1500 mtrs race was somehow good initiative from EFR to enhance the bond with locals. Main attraction in the event was Tug O war between Superior officers. As the meet ended with display of Khukri Drill which attracted alot of audience making them coming forward with their phones to capture the dazzling Khukri Drill performance by Jawans. Fire Show was the last to end the meet, cracking fire crackers in the dark in the middle of the ground held the attention of audience already leaving the venue to hold themselves till the Fire show ends.
