Spicy Ranch Water

Recipe
2 slices of Jalapeños
2 oz of Tequila
1 oz of lime
1 dash of my house bitters
Add to shaker with ice and shake

Rim Collins glass with lime wedge and then Tajin
Add ice to glass
strain into glass

I’m making a drink for every NFL football team and today I did Spicy Ranch Water for the Dallas Cowboys! Since “American football” is pretty much here I thought it would be fun to make a cocktail for each team to highlight the regions famous cocktails or cocktail that feature local flavors. For the Dallas Cowboys I thought Ranch water would do the trick and why not make it spicy. I had so much fun making this because my guilty pleasure is hard seltzer and this is 1000x better than those. I only used 2 slices of jalapeños and that was perfect for me. I didn’t muddle because the shaking does the trick. I used Cimarron based of some good things I was reading off r/tequila for cocktail tequilas and this really impressed me for the price point. I liked it a lot better than espolón and it’s same price for 1L! I know bitters aren’t usually in this but if you can’t tell I use my own in every drink I make and this really added a nice different spice to this cocktail. The Tajin rim really made this a beautiful and delicious cocktail. Let me know if you want me to do your team next and I’m open to suggestions for the next drink idea. Cheers!
