Judge Silences Critic To "Preserve His Character" - Former Cop, Current Judge Danny Singleton

Danny Singleton is a Probate court judge in Oconee County South Carolina. He has sentenced Jason Boyle to 60 days in jail for "contempt of court" for recording his own business with the court clerks in the court lobby. During the "hearing", Danny Singleton spends almost 30 minutes whining and complaining about Jason Boyle criticizing him outside of the court room. During his 30 minute rant, he mentions that more and more people in the US are losing respect for government as a whole. Rather than trying to earn respect, he orders Jason Boyle to stop criticizing him as a government official, and sentences him to 60 days in jail. Judge Danny Singleton mentions during his "hearing" that he is personally a witness in this case, which would make it so that he could not be the judge in the hearing, but he proceeds anyways.

I have been unable to reach anyone in South Carolina that can remedy this situation and release Jason from jail, but here are some phone numbers where you can attempt to try to let the right people know what's going on so they can fix it.
